Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: [OWNER: date of publication]
Draft for legal review. This text is not yet in force.
This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses the Apex website, course or app.
Do not
- break the law, or help anyone else break it, including privacy, anti-spam, export and sanctions laws;
- upload content you have no right to use, or that infringes someone else's rights;
- upload malware, or try to get around file checks, malware scanning or rate limits;
- try to access another company's data, probe or test the Service's security without our written permission, or get around access controls, row-level security or role checks;
- use the Service to harass anyone, or to send unsolicited messages;
- reverse engineer the Service except as the law allows, or copy or resell the course or the method materials;
- share course or certification answers, or take a certification for someone else;
- put special category data (health, biometrics, beliefs and similar) or payment card numbers into deals, documents or bids, unless it is truly needed and lawful;
- use AI features to produce content that is deceptive, discriminatory or unlawful, or to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on people without human review;
- put a heavy load on the Service on purpose, for example by automated scraping or bulk requests outside the app's own features.
Security research
Found a vulnerability? Write to [OWNER: security contact email]. We will not take action against good-faith research that avoids other customers' data, keeps the issue private until it is fixed, and does not disrupt the Service.
What we do about breaches
Depending on how serious it is, we may remove content, suspend users or a company, or end the agreement. Where we can, we warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. We act straight away when there is a risk to the Service, to other customers or to the public.
Reporting
